Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will define, lead and manage SuniTAFEs end-to-end health, safety and wellbeing program, ensuring legislative compliance while driving a proactive, risk-based culture. You will lead campus-wide health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, oversee incident and emergency management frameworks, and implement a comprehensive risk framework across the organisation. This role is about creativity, influence and impact. You will partner with leaders, and staff to deliver innovative health and safety and wellbeing strategies aligned to SuniTAFEs Strategic Plan. Your responsibilities will include: Define, lead, and manage SuniTAFEs health and safety program, including compliance and audit functions, to meet legislative requirements. Drive the implementation of a comprehensive risk framework for assessing and managing risk. Facilitate risk assessments and workplace inspections, including follow-up actions and verification of control effectiveness. Provide advice to managers and the executive leadership team regarding workplace health, safety and wellbeing. Coordinate and monitor key WHS programs. Provide guidance and coordination for the management of incidents Lead and support incident investigations ensuring appropriate worker involvement and identification of contributing factors. Develop, implement and review Emergency Management Plans covering credible scenarios and site-specific risks. Contribute to employee wellbeing processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding. Provide leadership to the OHS Committee, Safety Management Meeting, safety staff to support the delivery of the workplace health, safety and wellbeing.
