About the role This full-time Chef De Partie role at the Bridgewater Inn in Bridgewater, SA 5155 is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and talented chef to join a dynamic culinary team. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer service. What you''ll be doing Assist the Head Chef in the overall management and supervision of the kitchen team Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to the Bridgewater Inn''s high standards Ensure all food preparation and cooking meets food safety and hygiene regulations Contribute to the menu development process and suggest new and innovative dishes Manage kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and high-quality service Order and maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience What we''re looking for Several years'' experience as a Chef De Partie or equivalent in a busy restaurant environment Formal culinary training or qualifications in hospitality or related field Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations Strong leadership and people management skills Creative flair and passion for developing innovative and delicious menu items Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a close-knit team Good communication and interpersonal skills What we offer At the Bridgewater Inn, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive, collaborative and rewarding work environment for our culinary team.
