Senior Project Officer, Program Delivery Team Procurement Reform and Banking Employment Type: Temporary Employment period: 12 months Grade/Band: Clerk Grade 9/10 Remuneration: $129,464 - $142,665; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible working options available Applications Close: Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 9:59am Role impact & contribution The Senior Project Officer Circular Economy manages and coordinates the delivery of the Choose Circular project by providing procurement analysis, practical advice and project support to embed circular economy principles across NSW Government procurement. The role translates policy intent into actionable procurement activity by analysing markets and procurement data, identifying feasible circular opportunities, developing guidance and tools, and working with agencies and buyers to test and apply circular approaches. You will be joining our Procurement Reform and Banking Group and will be working within the Program Delivery team. Read more about your future Group and Division. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Experience working within the NSW Government environment, with an understanding of procurement processes, policy frameworks and governance requirements Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, research markets and contracts, and translate insights into practical recommendations Experience contributing to projects or initiatives, including supporting planning, delivery, reporting and stakeholder engagement An interest in, or working knowledge of, circular economy and sustainability principles, and how these can be applied in a practical, procurement context Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills, including drafting briefs, guidance material, reports or presentations for internal audiences The ability to work collaboratively across teams, divisions and agencies, building constructive relationships and testing ideas in a practical way A proactive and adaptable approach, balancing innovation, compliance, value for money and risk in a fastpaced environment What can you expect from us The team you will join is made up of a diverse and welcoming group of people.
