We can help people with most areas in criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice and help at court as well as assist with other services. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices. About the role As the Solicitor in Charge (Grade VI) at Broken Hill, you will lead and manage the regional office to ensure efficient operations and the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients and the community. You will supervise legal and administrative staff, foster a positive workplace culture, and provide expert legal advice and representation in complex matters as priorities allow. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersincluding the private profession, legal assistance providers, and the courtswhile representing Legal Aid NSW within the local community. About youThesuccessful applicant will be an experienced lawyer with strong leadership and management skills, capable of balancing a busy legal practice with office supervision and strategic planning. You will have experience handling complex legal matters, a commitment to high-quality client service, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Management experience is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff, drive service improvements, and promote a collaborative team environment.
