Take a quick look at "Living and Working" in the Far West.What you''ll be doingParticipate in the preparation of theatres before cases, cleaning and clearing theatres in between and end of cases. Removing clinical waste from the department.Collect and return patients from the wards safely.Take urgent specimens to pathology/bloods to ICU.Collect items from other areas of facility as instructed by nursing staff.Maintain patients trolleys in clean and tidy conditions.Assist with application of tourniquets, positioning of patients and transfers of patients.Assist nursing staff with cleaning of theatres at end of all theatre lists.Identify and report issues with equipment.Weekly ordering and distribution of stockWork unsupervised at various times and provide training to inexperienced porters undertaking duties in the operating theatre.What is on offer5 weeks paid annual leaveSalary packaging (pay less tax!) and enjoy up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainmentPaid Allocated Day Off (ADO) Every MonthNovated leasingFitness passportSupport through advanced education & trainingA comfortable country lifestyle that supports balance & wellbeingAbout the Far West LHDTheFar West Local Health Districtis one of 15 LHDs under NSW Health, providing high quality public health services to the communities in far west NSW.
