Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precincts existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services. A position is available for a Sterilising Technician/Theatre Assistant. We are accepting applications from persons who pride themselves in providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude. This position will be on a casual basis with a minimum of 16 hours per week (with the opportunity for more hours if available) and work across both CSD/Endosocopy cleaning and Theatre. Essential criteria for the combined role is detailed below. Essential criteria Certificate 3 in Sterilising Services (must have) Previous experience in Central Sterilising Department with experience in endoscopy cleaning Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Proven ability to show initiative Solutions focused and desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent patient and customer service focus Ability to work flexible hours and shifts (AM/PM shifts) Monday-Friday Everyone who joins Robina Private Hospital: Must provide aNational Policecheck conducted within the previous 3 months of commencement date andproof of immunisationagainst infectious diseases Position enquiries and applications (including current resume and cover letter addressing essential criteria) to:Day Surgery Unit Manager, Nicole Srom.
