We are seeking a motivated Clinical Coding and SNAP Data Quality Analyst to join our team.In this role, you will conduct clinical documentation reviews, perform coding and SNAP audits and deliver education to both clinicians and clinical coders to support best-practice standards in clinical documentation. As a team player and collaborator, you will play a key role in ensuring coded data accurately reflects casemix complexity and clinical activity. For more information, please click here Child Safe StandardsFor assistance with applying through the NSW Health Career Portal please click here.What you will bring to the roleTertiary Qualifications in Health Information Management (or equivalent), or completion of a recognised clinical coding qualification (for example, HIMAA Diploma of Clinical Coding or equivalent nationally recognised certification) and experience in clinical coding audit with eligibility for membership of HIMAA.Demonstrated clinical coding expertise with sound knowledge of the Australian Clinical Coding Standards and recent clinical coding experience, including the ability to undertake highlevel quality audits and analysis.Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate, and build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change, and to positively influence senior management and clinical staff across all levels of the healthcare setting.Advanced computer and data analysis skills, including experience using software such as MS Access, MS Excel, Patient Administration Systems/eMR, 3M Codefinder, and other clinical reporting systems.Demonstrated ability to organise tasks, assign priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between clinical coding, casemix, DRG and SNAP classification systems, and Activity Based Funding/Management Models.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Gowri Sriraman on u
