Business Enabling Services Group / Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (BES) Division / COMCAR and Programs (BES/MaPS) Branch APS 4 ($82,613 - $94,289) | | Casual (Irregular or Intermittent) Canberra, ACT .ABOUT THE BRANCH The COMCAR and Programs Branch is responsible for delivering high quality, secure and confidential car-with-driver and other ground transport services to high profile clients, such as the Governor-General and Prime Minister (both current and former), parliamentarians, member of the Federal Judiciary and other high office holders. Additionally, the Branch provides secretariat support to the Australian Political Exchange Council.COMCAR provides ground transport and associated support services to visiting Guests of Government such as Royalty, Heads of State, Heads of Government, and other foreign dignitaries. COMCAR frequently delivers services during major international events such as the ASEAN Special Summit, Group of Twenty meetings (G20), the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), and other Ministerial forums hosted in Australia. COMCAR has a national presence, with drivers located in each state and territory. The COMCAR National Operations Centre (CNOC) is the engine room of COMCAR, responsible for managing client bookings, allocations, and trip dispatches to our state and territory driver workforce within a 24/7 operational environment. ABOUT THEOPPORTUNITYCOMCAR is looking to fill several casual vacancies in the National Operations Centre, which is primarily responsible for the planning and delivery of ground transport services to a high-profile client base. We are looking to complement our existing team with dynamic, courteous and team orientated individuals who display a commitment to the delivery of outstanding levels of service. We are also seeking individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and have the availability to make sound decisions. The roles will be filled on a casual basis and includes shift work comprising of 7.5-hour shifts split over early mornings, late evenings, and overnight shifts across seven days a week, including public holidays. Remuneration, including shift penalties, is in line with the Department of Finance Enterprise Agreement 2024-2027.Key responsibilities of the role include: Assisting COMCAR clients and their staff to create, amend and cancel COMCAR bookings. Liaising with COMCAR Depot Staff, COMCAR drivers and outsources providers to ensure high quality service is delivered to COMCAR clients. Contributing positively to the COMCAR National Operations Centre and fostering a team-based culture. Assisting team members in performing their duties to ensure a seamless client experience; and Other duties as required. Full training on IT systems will be provided upon commencement.
