The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is Australia''s most awarded 3D animation, game development and visual effects educator with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Online. AIE is a not-for-profit organisation with a commitment to delivering high quality, specialist vocational and higher education. We are seeking an experienced and proactive National Administration Officer to play a key role within the national team across Australia, based in our Canberra campus. Excellent communication skills, a sense of humour and an enthusiasm for working with passionate students in a creative and fun environment are highly valued. In this position you will undertake and help coordinate the following work, as part of a national team: Key Responsibilities: Managing student administration processes including enrolments, withdrawals, progression, completion, and issuance Maintaining the student management system accurately Following compliance and data reporting requirements including VET and Higher Education obligations Providing administrative support to staff where needed General office administration Working collaboratively with national admissions, finance, and leadership teams Liaising with current and prospective students Essential Skills and Knowledge: Strong organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, even in timesensitive situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in similar roles, within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and knowledge of the Higher Education Sector Experience with Student Management Systems (aXcelerate and Paradigm highly desirable) and Learning Management Systems (such as Canvas) Ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively as part of a national team Capability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Initiative and ability to learn new systems and processes Commitment to quality assurance Capability to work with students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds in a supportive and constructive manner Proficiency in Office 365, in particular Word and Excel You are organised, capable and calm under pressure Desirable: Familiarity with the VET Quality Framework, VET Student Loans Scheme, Victorian Skills First Funding and CRICOS all highly regarded Relevant tertiary qualification Experience with state funding programs, including VTAC, and associated regulations and administration Interest in games, animation, film and/or visual effects Please note: This is a full-time position with a 5-month probation period.
