Tangentyere Council is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Town Camps and Central Australia. First incorporated in 1979, the organisation was a finalist in the 2016 Reconciliation Australia, Indigenous Governance Awards and is one of the 10 largest Aboriginal Corporations in Australia. This position partners with leaders and employees to provide operational and administrative support on functions such as policies, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance, records management and learning and development. The role ensures HR practices align with organisational values, promote a positive workplace culture, and comply with relevant legislation. With a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, the People & Culture Generalist contributes to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, capability, and overall organisational effectiveness.
