We work closely with Queensland Police Service (QPS), the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Victim Assist Queensland (VAQ), the courts and a broad network of community services. About the RoleAs a Family Support Coordinator, you will provide counselling and specialist case management to individuals and families who have lost a loved one to homicide. This is a frontline, relationshipfocused role where your clinical skills, emotional intelligence and judgement support people navigating grief, trauma and complex justice processes. You will manage your own caseload, delivering counselling, advocacy, referrals and practical supports, while working closely with Peer Support and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated, personcentred care. The role may involve outreach across Queensland and participation in courtrelated support. This role suits a compassionate and capable Counsellor or Social Worker who values traumainformed practice, professional integrity and meaningful work with lasting impact.
