Fleet Replacement Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6, Wollongong State Headquarters Join a high-performing team focused on the design, construction and delivery of purpose built, highly capable fleet assets for NSW State Emergency Service. Work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW Temporary fulltime role until 22 February 2027 with possibility of extension. Location: NSW State Headquarters Wollongong About the opportunity The Fleet Replacement Officer plays a key role in supporting the Fleet Replacement Team across various stages of the asset lifecycle, including design, construction, and delivery of NSW SES operational fleet assets (vehicles, vessels, and trailers). In this role you will be responsible for any of the tasks outlined below: Research and analysis to develop functional specification documents. Design related activities such as stowage, fit out and final design review, quality assurance processes. Development of handover documentation. Processing orders and coordinating dispatch of vehicle, vessel, and trailer inventory and equipment to fleet builders. Build tracking until completion. Communicating and preparing NSW SES members for delivery of new asset and collection of assets scheduled for retirement. Asset creation, asset data management and recording of equipment numbers against fleet assets in registry systems.
