Join the Adelaide Hills Medical Unit (AHMU) as a Consultant General Physician, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across multiple sites including Mount Barker,Gumerachaand Strathalbyn. In this dynamic role, you will assess,diagnoseand manage a broad range of medical presentations, working closely with Emergency Departments,GPsand community services. You will play a key role in ensuringtimelypatient reviews, clear clinicaldecision-makingand effective discharge planning, while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the medical ward andparticipatingin an on-call roster. As a senior clinician, you will provide strong clinical leadership and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, supporting and mentoring junior medical staff alongside nursing and allied health teams. You will actively contribute to quality improvement, teaching,researchand accreditation activities, ensuring care is delivered in line with SA Health policies and best practice standards.
