Pre Apprenticeship in Construction Course Description Thinking about a career in Construction? Not sure where to start? Squad are partnering with TAFE NSW Albury Campus to offer a taster program for young people interested in Construction. Under a pre-apprenticeship program, you will undertake introductory units in Construction and on-the-job work experience allowing you to get a taste of the trade Units Included (CPCCWHS2001) Apply WHS Requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry (CPCCM2005) Use construction tolls and equipment (CPCCPM1011) Undertake a basic construction project (CPCCCPM1014) Conduct workplace communication (CPCCOM1012) Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry (CPCCBL2002) Use bricklaying and blocklaying tools and equipment Eligibility To be eligible for a pre-apprenticeship or pre-traineeship you need to: be 15 years old or over, and live or work in New South Wales, and be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen, and no longer be at school or equivalent (Note: A home schooled student is eligible).
