As part of the Facilities and Asset Management team, our painters deliver proactive and reactive maintenance programs across Council facilities, supporting safe, welcoming and wellmaintained spaces for the Central Coast community - work you can see, be proud of, and that makes a real difference every day. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. Key activities of this role include: Deliver routine and programmed maintenance painting to agreed standards, timeframes and budgets. Respond to urgent repair work, including graffiti removal and rectifying paint damage across Council premises and public spaces. Prepare accurate costings and estimates to support wellplanned, valueformoney project delivery. Plan and coordinate materials and resources to achieve quality finishes and efficient outcomes. Complete minor tasks associated with other trades (where trained/qualified) to minimise costs and downtime. Support preventative maintenance planning and scheduling. Work safely and comply with relevant legislation, industry standards and Council policies and procedures. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $81.9K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation and Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions allowance.
