About this RoleThe Rectification Crew is responsible for attending site call-outs and completing rectification, modification, and repair works on prefabricated truss, frame, or floor systems supplied and installed by M10 Truss & Timber Pty Ltd. This role ensures all post-delivery and on-site adjustments are carried out safely, efficiently, and to M10Trusss quality standards, supporting both customer satisfaction and compliance with building codes. Roles And ResponsibilitiesSite Rectification & Repairs Attend site call-outs as scheduled by the Production Manager or Client Site Supervisor. Conduct inspection, diagnosis, and repair of timber trusses, wall frames, and flooring systems as required. Perform cutting, reinforcing, bracing, or on-site modification in accordance with engineering specifications and Multinail guidelines. Ensure all rectification work complies with the approved design drawings and structural requirements. Safety & Compliance Follow M10Trusss safety policies, SWMS, and PPE requirements at all times. Conduct site-specific risk assessments and report any hazards immediately. Maintain safe use of power tools, ladders, and lifting equipment. Participate in toolbox meetings and report all incidents or near misses to the supervisor. Quality & Documentation Record rectification details in job sheets or via M10Trusss service tracking system Take before-and-after photos for all completed works. Ensure all materials used are accounted for and reported to the Production Office. Maintain a clean and professional work area. Communication & Customer Relations Liaise professionally with builders, site supervisors, and clients on-site. Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding additional works, material shortages, or engineering concerns. Represent M10Truss with integrity, courtesy, and respect at all times. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Safety Compliance Zero LTIs; 100% completion of daily SWMS/JSA. Quality of Work Zero rework from rectification jobs; conforms to engineering and Mitek specifications. Timeliness Jobs completed within allocated timeframes and scheduling requirements. Customer Feedback Positive feedback from clients and builders; no repeat rectification on same site. Documentation Accurate and complete rectification reports with photo records. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Essential Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent on-site construction experience. Strong understanding of truss and frame construction principles. Current White Card(Construction Induction). Competency in power tools, hand tools, and safe manual handling. Current Drivers Licenceand ability to travel to different sites. Desirable Forklift licence or EWP ticket. Experience working with prefabricated timber systems (Mitek or Multinail). Basic understanding of reading truss and frame shop drawings. Personal Attributes Reliable, punctual, and accountable. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a small crew.
