Leading hand carpenter We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team at Stroud Homes Central Coast. As a full-time Leading Hand Carpenter, you will be executing high-quality building work for our residential new build construction projects. WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING Working with a trades assistant to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects, internal & external carpentry works (ie Frame & Truss, windows, cladding, doors, mouldings, locks, decking etc) for our new home constructions Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Provide on-site training and guidance to less experienced team members WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR Experience as a Carpenter in the residential construction industry Demonstrate expertise in carpentry, with a strong understanding of residential construction techniques and materials Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges on-site Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans in conjunction with selection schedules Strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage a growing team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with subcontractors and team members Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment Must have Drivers Licence Certificate III in Carpentry qualification is mandatory for this position WHAT WE OFFER At Stroud Homes Central Coast, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
