You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.In this role, you''ll:Working as part of a team delivering strategic planning, governance, risk and assurance for the Planning, Integration & Passenger (PIP) Division, this role will see you lead the development and activation of the divisional strategy, oversee divisional risk and audit activities, and partner closely with executives to align branch priorities with enterprise objectives.You will shape strategic decisions and influence outcomes at the executive level, driving alignment across a complex, multi-modal transport portfolio. Operating in a collaborative, matrix environment, you will guide how PIP responds to government directions, strategic issues and evolving customer needs.You will translate enterprise direction into a clear and compelling strategic narrative, enabling leaders to prioritise effectively and act with confidence. By synthesising data, risk insights and customer considerations, you will support informed and timely decision-making.You will strengthen strategic planning, governance, risk and audit practices, uplifting divisional maturity, embedding clear accountabilities and fostering a disciplined, performance-oriented culture that supports strong governance and delivery.Working within the Divisional Management Office, youll operate at the core of PIPs mission: using customer insights, data and integrated planning to improve transport outcomes across NSW.This position is based in our Elizabeth St office in Sydney CBD, with hybrid work arrangements supported.Please note recruitment for this role will be on hold during the Christmas period, with progress continuing in early 2026.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.About youYou bring strong stakeholder management skills, proven strategic planning experience and strategic leadership capability developed within large, complex organisations or divisions of comparable scale. You confidently partner with senior leaders, navigate competing priorities and shape strategic outcomes.You have led end-to-end strategic planning processes from environmental scanning and priority setting through to roadmap development, performance alignment and execution oversight ensuring clear line of sight between objectives, initiatives, risks and outcomes.You influence executive-level decisions and communicate complex information in a clear, compelling and actionable way. You bring clarity to ambiguity, align diverse stakeholders and enable informed decision-making.While you have a solid understanding of strategy, governance, risk and assurance, you are not required to be the technical subject matter expert. You demonstrate sound judgement, confidence in decision-making and the ability to leverage expertise across teams to drive outcomes.You are a credible leader, experienced in presenting, facilitating and using data to inform decisions, and in building high-performing teams that partner effectively with executives and other relevant stakeholders.
