An exciting opportunity for an executive to lead the establishment, governance and delivery of high impact disaster recovery programs across NSW. Role can be based in Sydney or elsewhere in NSW by negotiation. Competitive Remuneration Package, commensurate with experience. The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Director Partnerships and Program Delivery to play a critical leadership role in ensuring recovery programs are activated quickly, governed effectively and delivered in partnership to meet community needs and government priorities for the state of NSW.The Director, Partnerships and Program Delivery provides strategic leadership and direction to establish and manage partnerships with Commonwealth, State and local government agencies, non-government organisations, community organisations and industry partners to enable the effective delivery of disaster recovery programs across the State.This Director, Partnerships and Program Delivery is accountable for: Activating, governing and delivering disaster recovery programs, including managing bilateral Commonwealth State disaster funding arrangements Ensuring robust contract management, governance frameworks, funder compliance and financial acquittal for externally delivered programs Providing executive sponsorship and direction to delivery partners in high pressure, post disaster contexts Leading the rapid mobilisation and implementation of recovery programs delivered by the agency to meet community needs Resolving delivery blockages in real time and ensuring programs remain responsive, targeted and well-coordinated Balancing political, community, operational and fiscal pressures while delivering tangible outcomes on the ground About YouWe are looking for an executive with Significant senior executive experience leading largescale, complex programs, ideally within emergency management, disaster recovery, or whole of government delivery contexts Demonstrated expertise in partnership-based delivery models, contract management, and multijurisdictional funding arrangements Strong strategic judgement, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and competing priorities A visible and credible leadership presence, able to lead decisively in unclear, rapidly changing environments Proven experience governing externally delivered programs, ensuring accountability, compliance and value for money Knowledge of the workings of the NSW and Commonwealth government and related disaster funding arrangements Exceptional communication and influencing skills, enabling you to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across government and with external partners For more information read the full Role Description: Director Partnerships and Program DeliveryAbout the AgencyThe NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
