Your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering will be essential to delivering projects that meet strict quality benchmarks, stay within budget, and hit deadlines with confidence.You''ll work directly with transmitters, receivers, power supply units, and electronic relays, applying your skills in fault finding, PCB repair, and interpreting circuit diagrams. Rail-specific test equipment will be part of your daily toolkit, and youll operate to Sydney Trains specifications and standards, ensuring every component is certified and ready for service. This is a role that demands safety, efficiency, and independence. You''ve earned your trade certificate from a recognised institution and bring years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You are confident with engineering drawings and calculations, and you know how to turn technical insight into practical outcomes. A forklift licence is a plus, but what truly sets you apart is your ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute meaningfully in a maintenance setting.
