This fulltime, permanent role sits across two critical services, the Child Protection Counselling Service and the Sexual Assault Service, and is primarily based at Liverpool and Hoxton Park Community Health Centres, with outreach across the Dharawal, Gundungurra and Darug Nations. In this role, you will embed Aboriginal cultural values such as connection to Country, community, family, spirituality and identity into everyday practice, ensuring services are culturally safe, respectful and holistic. You will engage with local Elders, Aboriginal organisations and community members to strengthen trust, build partnerships and support early access to care, while contributing to health promotion, prevention and community education initiatives that support healing, safety and wellbeing for Aboriginal families across South Western Sydney. SWSLHD operates its services across the traditional lands of the Dharawal, Darug and Gundungurra peoples, in strong partnership with local Aboriginal communities to deliver better, culturally responsive health care, led by our Aboriginal Health services.We are a district that is committed to supporting you grow and develop your skills.
