We are seeking a Business Support Officer Planning to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Manager Planning and contribute to the efficient functioning of our Planning unit. To learn more visit www.bawbawshire.vic.gov.au About the Role As the Business Support Officer Planning you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Manager Planning and play a key role in enabling the effective delivery of the Statutory, Strategic, Growth Area Planning and Subdivision teams. You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative planning leadership group, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. About the Successful Candidate You are highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced local government environment. You bring demonstrated experience in business or executive support, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.You have strong administrative and coordination skills, excellent communication, and experience working across multiple systems, reporting tools, and stakeholder groups. You are known for your accuracy, discretion, and ability to deliver work efficiently and effectively.Experience in local government planning will be highly regarded, along with a solid understanding of governance, reporting, and customer service expectations within a council environment.If you are proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you!
