We are looking for a motivated Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) towork 15 hours per week (2 days), with the possibility of additional casual hours if needed, supporting our programs and actively contributing to our team. In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of engaging programs that foster childrens creativity, curiosity, and love of learning. Using observations and assessments, youll tailor experiences to meet individual needs, ensuring that every child feels valued, included, and inspired. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and consistency of our programs, helping children achieve positive outcomes while experiencing a safe, nurturing environment. You will also play a key role in embedding child safety practices across the service, working alongside leadership to uphold compliance with child protection policies and procedures. Collaboration is at the heart of this positionyou will be an active member of a cohesive, long-standing team that shares knowledge, supports each other, and values professional growth. This position is located in the beautiful town of Coonabarabran, known as the Astronomy Capital of Australia, which is midway between Melbourne and Brisbane and is known for its beautiful landscape and stunning night skies. The town has medical services, excellent schools, a variety of sporting and social clubs and a thriving tourism Industry. With the nearby Warrumbungle National Park, which is also Australias first Dark Sky Park, there is plenty to do and explore whether youre looking for adventure or relaxation. Selection Criteria Include ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is a minimum. It would be advantageous if you hold the Diploma or are working towards it. If you''re currently studying, we encourage you to call us to discuss your eligibility.Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting and CPR.Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time Our Place (MTOP) and National Quality Standards (NQS).Child Protection and National Child Safety Training.Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development.Previous experience is desirable, but not essential.Current NSW Class C drivers licence.
