The Role The Development Engineer provides technical engineering support to Councils Development Infrastructure team, with a focus on the assessment, approval and delivery of public infrastructure associated with subdivisions and development projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders, developers and consultants, the role ensures engineering designs and constructed assets meet Council standards and legislative requirements. About You Youre a capable and motivated civil engineering professional with experience in land development or subdivision works who enjoys seeing projects progress from design through to delivery. You bring a sound understanding of engineering standards and legislative requirements, along with strong technical and analytical skills. Confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, you balance attention to detail with a practical, solutionsfocused approach. You take pride in delivering highquality outcomes, work well both independently and as part of a team and are committed to providing responsive, professional customer service. Qualifications in Civil Engineering and minimum three years experience in civil construction/maintenance is required for this role. Experience with land development subdivisions will be highly regarded.
