About Gold Coast Tow Trucks Light & Heavy Working for Gold Coast Tow Trucks Light & Heavy means being part of a family run, privately owned business that provides transport solutions over Queensland and Northern New South Wales for all types of vehicles, plant and equipment, salvaging and unique items. The Role This role is a challenging and varied role in a fast paced, busy environment. Our call center team is fully committed to delivering required outcomes on time, every time. We encourage and support initiative. This role entails receiving calls, quoting towing jobs and date entry AND dispatching of jobs received by email and phone This role is based in our Carrara head office. The Shifts We are currently looking for a MULTIPLE motivated and down to earth team players to Night shift positions. We require Nightshift and Weekend dispatchers. Salary decided upon interview depending on experience and shift times etc. Duties Plan and dispatch trucks in accordance with customer timeframes and workloads Provide the highest level of customer service by answering customer calls and service queries Communicate effectively with drivers to resolve transport issues as they arise Communicate with customer sites advising of any relevant updates Develop relationships with our drivers and key customers Data entry (entering each job into the system) computer and geographical knowledge Skills & experience Experience in Transport & Logistics or similar environment is beneficial, (This could also mean you have truck and transport driving experience.). You have a passion for exceeding customer expectations with your "can do" attitude, strong computer knowledge and you will enjoy working with people and be an enthusiastic, results-oriented team player.
