Most tiling jobs are repetitive new builds. This isnt one of them. At Allspex Tiling, we specialise in complex bathroom and balcony repairs that most trades wont touch. Our work involves demolition, structural preparation, waterproofing, screeding and precision tiling. Were looking for a reliable Trade Assistant to work directly with our head tiler and learn how these repairs are actually done. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning practical skills and taking pride in doing things properly, this role can grow into serious responsibility and long-term opportunities in the trade. What you''ll be doing Assisting our head tiler on specialised repair projects including: Site set-up and pack down Carrying tiles, materials and equipment Demolition and preparation Material pick-ups Learning how bathrooms and balconies are properly repaired Because we specialise in remedial work, youll be exposed to much more than just tiling. Job details Start date: AprilHours: 20-30 hours initially, to grow to full timeRate: $35/hr + super (award rates) This role suits someone who Is physically fit, strong and comfortable with hands-on work and power tools Communicates clearly and works well in a team Has a strong work ethic and reliable attitude Is curious, wants to learn and move up, not just work a dead end job Requirements Valid MANUAL drivers license or own car and license Full working rights in Australia Living on the Gold Coast This role is ideal for someone early in their construction career who wants to learn a trade properly and take on more responsibility over time. This is a physically demanding job.
