About the role We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Tweed Coast Medical Centre. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse community. What you''ll be doing Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses and managing a range of acute and chronic health conditions Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medication as per your scope of practice Providing expert nursing care, including the implementation of treatment plans and monitoring patient outcomes Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care Engaging in continuing professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical knowledge and skills Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with professional and organisational standards What we''re looking for Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and additional qualifications as a Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate in Nurse Practitioner is required Minimum of 3- years post-graduate experience, with significant clinical expertise in general medical and surgical nursing Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions within your scope of practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team Commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care Experience in a similar role within a primary healthcare setting or general practice would be highly regarded Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required What we offer At Tweed Coast Medical Centre, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that empowers our employees to thrive.
