Our people are united by compassion, collaboration and excellence in care.What you''ll be doingTo be the first point of contact in the Medical Imaging Department for booking and scheduling procedures in the Hospital bookings system for all Medical Imaging modalities as well as being responsible for relaying pre-procedural instructions/information. A good understanding of human anatomy is therefore necessary for this position.Perform Departmental administrative duties as directed by Business/Operations Manager including but not limited to typing letters, updating spreadsheets, typing rosters, filing, scanning and faxing.To be able to adapt to unexpected situations and fluctuating workload. This role is a central point for a very busy department with many competing demands on time. An excellent understanding of human anatomy is essential. (Previous experience in a Medical Imaging Department would be an advantage).Professional and pleasant phone manner with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Previous proven excellent administration skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.High standard of verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in MS Word and Outlook as well as intermediate Excel skills with the ability to learn new computer programs.
