With a strong eCommerce presence, multiple online sales channels, and continued business growth, we are seeking a versatile and proactive Graphic Designer & Digital Operations Coordinator to join our team in Wollongong. This is a dynamic hybrid role that combines creative design, eCommerce content management, and digital operations support. We are looking for someone who can contribute both visually and technically to the continued growth and performance of our online business. About The Role Working closely with management, sales, warehouse and external service providers, this position will support the day-to-day creative output and digital functionality of SMAI''s eCommerce ecosystem.The successful candidate will play an important role in: delivering engaging visual marketing assets, maintaining website and product content, supporting online marketplace operations, and assisting with the smooth performance of internal digital systems. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is comfortable balancing both design tasks and technical coordination.IMPORTANT NOTICE - Previous training and experience is required for the graphic design component of this role. On-the-job training will be provided for the digital operations component.Key Responsibilities Creative & Marketing Design Design EDM campaigns, promotional banners, website graphics and digital marketing assets Assist with the visual presentation and merchandising of SMAI''s online stores Produce product mock-ups, promotional visuals and sales support materials Support product photography and image editing where required Website & eCommerce Content Management Maintain and update product listings, imagery, descriptions and website content Assist with collection page creation, landing pages and online promotional campaigns Support ongoing improvements to website user experience and presentation Manage Shopify apps and assist with general store maintenance Digital Operations Support Assist in monitoring the day-to-day performance of SMAI''s eCommerce systems and integrations Help identify and resolve technical issues impacting website orders, product data, or online channels Liaise with external developers, software providers and support teams where required Support the maintenance of digital platforms used across order processing, warehouse management and online sales On the job training provided for this component of the role Marketplace & Product Channel Coordination Assist in maintaining accurate product listings across online marketplaces and marketing channels Support feed management and product compliance for shopping channels Help ensure product information remains accurate and synchronised across systems About You The ideal candidate will be creative, organised, technically capable, and confident working across multiple digital platforms. You will ideally have experience in: Graphic design and digital content creation Adobe Creative Suite Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms Product listing and website content management Basic troubleshooting across apps, systems or digital platforms Coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment You will also bring: Strong attention to detail A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Good communication skills Develop and contribute innovative creative concepts The ability to work independently and as part of a team A commercial understanding of brand presentation and online sales Highly Regarded Experience with any of the following will be viewed favourably: Klaviyo or EDM marketing platforms Google Shopping / Meta Shopping Marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Kogan, Bunnings or similar Product photography or photo editing Basic HTML/CSS or familiarity with digital integrations Why Join SMAI?
