School Facilities Maintenance Team Member The Essington School is an independent school in Darwin, recognised for academic excellence and cultural learning. We invite applications to be a part of our dynamic Facilities Maintenance Team providing an enriching learning environment on our Rapid Creek campus. Essential Requirements: Basic knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and related equipment Physical fitness and capacity to undertake a range of manual tasks safely Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and respond promptly to routine and urgent requests Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work constructively with staff, contractors, and the school community Hold, or be willing to obtain, a First Aid Certificate Obtain a valid Working with Children Clearance (the Ochre Card) and a satisfactory Police Security Check and maintain these clearances for the duration of employment Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence How to Apply: For a detailed position description, visit How to Apply: Please submit your application via ''Quick Apply'' above.
