Workshop & Yard Assistance | Bunbury Location Perm, Full-Time | Long Term Position & Up-Skilling Available Up to $35 per hour + Overtime Rates | Mon-Fri 7: 30am - 3:30pm About Us: Forkwest, a locally operated forklift company based in Bunbury WA, has proudly supported the South West region for 29 years. We specialise in forklift repairs and servicing, along with other commercial vehicles including 4WDs and light trucks. With a modern workshop facility and a strong team culture, we are committed to delivering outstanding service to our customers. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Hand to join our Bunbury team. About the Role: This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Youll play an important role in keeping our yard organised, equipment prepared and customers supported. What Youll Be Doing: Maintaining yard cleanliness and general tidiness Organising forklifts and equipment within the yard Refuelling forklifts upon return from hire Loading and unloading trucks and containers Assisting with deliveries and site movements Pressure cleaning forklifts in preparation for hire or sale Meeting and greeting customers on site Maintaining accurate records using computer systems and tablets Supporting workshop and yard operations as required Whats On Offer: Up to $35 per hour + overtime rates (depending on experience) Full-time, permanent role | MondayFriday 7:30am3:30pm + overtime Long-term job security within a stable and growing organisation Opportunity to develop your skills within the materials handling industry Employee rewards program offering product, supermarket, fuel and retail discounts Wellbeing support and regular employee celebrations About You: Experience in a similar role within a workshop, yard or industrial environment Physically capable of performing manual handling duties Current drivers licence and forklift licence Strong customer service skills and professional communication Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic Intermediate computer skills with the ability to log machinery in and out Basic mechanical knowledge or mechanical aptitude Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening Does this sound like you?
