About the Role Were looking for a reliable Trade Assistant to join our team in Roseworthy, SA. This is a hands-on workshop role supporting tradespeople with materials, tools, preparation work, and general workshop duties. This position suits someone who is practical, safety-focused, and keen to learn in a busy engineering/workshop environment. Youll be working as part of a supportive team with consistent full-time hours and the potential for a permanent position for the right person. Whats on Offer $40.00 - $45.00 per hour casual rate (inclusive of casual loading) 38 hours per week with the potential to move into a permanent role Stable local work in Roseworthy Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop workshop skills Key Responsibilities Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day workshop tasks Handling and moving materials, tools, and components Preparing jobs and maintaining a clean, organised work area General labouring and workshop support duties Following instructions and safe work procedures at all times What Youll Need Reliable with a strong work ethic Able to follow instructions and work well in a team Safety-focused and physically capable of manual work Previous workshop or labouring experience is preferred but not essential Full Australian working rights Physical Requirements This role involves regular manual handling and moderate lifting as part of normal workshop duties.
