Our 104 bed facility is an approved Commonwealth Residential Aged Care and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider.Comprising of four individual cottages, accommodating up to 26 residents in each, the cottages incorporate several comfortable living areas, indoor activity spaces, sensory rooms, lounges and dining rooms, secure side courtyards and a secure main central garden that lies between the arms of the cottage.Our residents are supported by multidisciplinary Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff, as well as a broad Corporate and Hotel services team.Garrawarra Centre is located just south of Waterfall on the outskirts of the Royal National Park, near the Garrawarra State Conservation Area, which provides beautiful natural surroundings for residents, families/carers and staff to enjoy. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.2. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.3. Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with residents/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.5. Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.6. Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.7.
