Requisition ID: REQ653192Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per weekRemuneration: $116892.00 - $120680.00 per year + 12% Superannuation + Salary PackagingLocation: Liverpool HospitalApplications close: 19/04/26Contact: Elise Tcharkhedian - Physiotherapy Head of Department on Providing expert physiotherapy for complex care through advanced clinical reasoning, innovation and leadership.Achieve Something GreatJoin the Liverpool Physiotherapy Department in a permanent fulltime Level 3 Senior Aged Care Physiotherapist role, where your clinical leadership and expertise will contribute to highquality care and service excellence.Be part of an exceptional multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services across Aged Care and General Medicine.Provide senior clinical leadership through the supervision, teaching and support of Level 1/2 and new graduate physiotherapists.Contribute to service development, quality improvement and bestpractice care for older adults.Work closely with specialist services including Falls Clinic, Specialist Aged Care, Rehabilitation Services and the Transitional Care Program (TCP).Make a meaningful impact by supporting safe, effective and personcentred care for an ageing patient population.Are You the Right Fit?You are an experienced and motivated physiotherapist with strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering highquality, evidencebased care.Demonstrated advanced clinical practice skills with the ability to manage complex physiotherapy caseloads across a range of inpatient settings.Proven experience in supervising, teaching and supporting Level 1/2 physiotherapists, new graduates and students.Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and the application of evidencebased practice.Experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.Highly developed communication, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Selection CriteriaTo help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.Describe your clinical experience managing a complex physiotherapy caseload in Aged Care, including falls assessment, discharge planning and education to patients and carers. In your response, outline how you apply advanced clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and effective time management to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Demonstrate your experience supervising and/or teaching physiotherapists or students.
