Were looking for a reliable, high-energy Head Cook to join our team primarily based at our Gundagai site, with flexibility to work across both locations when needed. The roster (this is the good bit) Sunday through Thursday Fridays and Saturdays OFF No night work every evening is yours Stable, predictable pattern plan your life around it The role As our Head Cook, youll be the engine of the kitchen. Youll prepare a variety of menu items quickly and accurately, making sure every plate meets our standard while keeping the workspace clean and organised. You will have responsibility for ordering, portion control, wastage & prep staff. The opportunity Salary: $80,000 per annum + superannuation Terms: Initial 3-month trial period with a view to a permanent position for the right person Training: Full training provided experience is preferred, not essential What were looking for A multitasking mindset you can manage multiple tickets at once without losing quality Speed and efficiency you can work quickly and keep output high through peak service Cool under pressure you stay calm, focused and positive when the kitchen fills up High adaptability you roll with changing orders and the rhythm of a popular local cafe A warm personality a friendly attitude and a can-do spirit.
