Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for a motivated Tourism Sales Support to join our Sales team! Based at the zoo, this extremely unique role brings together the worlds of Conservation and Tourism Sales! Located at Sydneys Iconic Taronga Zoo Full time, ongoing position TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Genscale10, annual package $81,353 (includes base salary $71,777 + 12% superannuation & leave loading when applicable) About the RoleThe Tourism Sales Support role is an essential part of Tarongas Tourism Team, providing highquality administrative, customer and sales support to help grow visitation and deliver exceptional experiences for guests, partners and stakeholders.Working closely with the Tourism Sales Manager and broader Tourism & Guest Experience teams, this role ensures the smooth coordination of sales activities, supports the delivery of trade and partner bookings, and helps maintain strong relationships across the tourism network.Key Accountabilities Distribute regular email communications to the different account sectors, sharing relevant news and product information from Taronga. Assist Tourism Manager to achieve agreed Tourism income targets through effective servicing of external stakeholders and tourism accounts. Daily management of trade reservations including but not limited to; inputting of bookings, invoicing and answering enquiries from both trade and the public Distribute and collate commercially confidential rates and contracts on an annual basis Undertake essential team administration and sales support duties Comply with Tarongas Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained. Attend industry networking and updates both within and outside of normal work hours when required. As required coordinate and support the team with large in-ground groups/events Assist with management of OTA Accounts including Rezdy connections Undertake monthly reconciliations and reporting About YouWe are looking for candidates that have: Minimum 12 months experience in the tourism industry. Understanding of the Microsoft suite of products. Experience with Rezdy desired but not essential. Experience in providing administrative support in a tourism or marketing industry role Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
