The Hand Therapy team is multidisciplinary and consists of both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working cohesively within the service. This position will be responsible for a clinical caseload consisting of treating patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as supervising Level 1/Level 2 Occupational Therapists working within the hand therapy team. The caseload will be primarily trauma with a small component of treatment of chronic conditions. You will also work closely with the surgical and MDT team at outpatient hand clinics based at Auburn Hospital.We are seeking strong leadership in this space and there are various other roles and responsibilities you will have as a Senior clinician in our department.For example, will be responsible for supporting other outpatient Occupational Therapy services and staff in lymphoedema and scar management.Where you''ll be workingAt Westmead Hospital, our Occupational Therapy Vision is to empower through creative problem-solving, clinical excellence, and compassion.You will be joining our thriving Occupational Therapy team at Westmead Hospital, which is where you''ll experience a highly supportive department with a positive team culture.
