This includes individuals requiring medically supervised withdrawal or treatment for acute harms related to alcohol and other drug use. Many patients present with complex psychosocial needs, cooccurring mental health concerns, and experiences of trauma or instability. Working within a harmminimisation and personcentred framework, the team delivers medical support, brief therapeutic interventions, psychosocial assessment, and coordinated discharge planning.
