About the Opportunity EnergyCoplaysa pivotal role in the NSW Governments Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the states electricity system into one that is affordable, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCois responsible forleading the delivery of the States first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs). The team in theNew EnglandRenewable Energy Zone(NE REZ)areseekingto appoint aManager Procurementto undertakesourcing andacquiringthe necessary resources for project delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, andtimelyexecution of deliverables.The role works closely with functional leads andis responsible formanaging the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing,negotiationand contract managementin accordance withEnergyCo-related procurement policies and guidelines. About You You are an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and a practical, handson approach to delivering complex, highvalue sourcing and contract activities. You confidently manage the full procurement lifecycle from strategy development through to negotiation, riskassessmentand contract management, ensuring valueformoney outcomes and alignment withNSW Governmentprocurementand probityprinciples, contractlawandindustry standards. Youhave hands-on experienceandarewilling topreparefrom scratch, reviewing and finalizingbriefs, reports, presentations, and procurement related documentation (such as tender packs, evaluation reports, negotiation pack, contract variations) ensuringprocurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements are fully compliant to provide an audit trail for probity and audit purposes. You have strong Microsoft Excel data analytics skills toanalyselarge datasets, deriving insightsto inform tender evaluations and recommendations. You work effectively within established governance frameworks, ensuring every procurement activity is compliant, welldocumentedand consistent with organisational financial guidelines and procedures. Youidentifyprocurement risks early, analyse market conditions,and navigate sensitive commercial issues to support sound andtimelydecisionmaking. Collaboration is one of your strengths, giving you the ability to buildproductive working relationships with project teams, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, and you communicate clearly and professionally to influence, resolveissuesandmaintainmomentum in highpressure environments. You manage multiple priorities with ease and adapt quickly to changing demands, enabling you to support fastpaced project delivery. Essential Requirements Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/ordemonstratedequivalent experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel data analytics capabilities Advantageous - A combination of: prior experience working with the NSW Government procurement frameworks and panels; experienceprocuringconstruction and infrastructure related contracts; and experience in management consulting roles.
