About the Role Casual / relief positions $35-$40 per hour We are seeking casual Teacher Aides / Learning Support Assistants to join our team of educators. You will work closely with Teaching staff to support the delivery of high-quality learning support for students with additional learning needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to fostering an inclusive and caring classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance to individual students and small groups, including those with additional learning needs. Help with classroom activities and learning routines. Aid students in coping with the classroom environment. Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Assist with the care and management of students, as directed by a teacher Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources. Contribute to the supervision of students during lessons, playtimes, and excursions. About You To be considered for this role you will have: A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning Strong organisation and planning skills. Strong literacy and numeracy skills to assist with academic tasks and understanding. The ability to work with a variety of students under general supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An awareness of duty of care of children with the capacity to make appropriate judgments to ensure student safety and welfare. Sound digital literacy competencies to help with technology-based learning tools. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting classroom activities. Some experience working with children in educational settings is preferred.
