Protech are looking for experienced Machine Operators to perform work with our client, with multiple projects based in the Northern Territory and South Australia on a FIFO 2/1 or 3/1 basis. ABOUT THE ROLE PAY RATE: $43.50$55 per hour, depending on experience and site/project Super on ALL HOURS Weekly Pay Available Rosters: 3/1 or 2/1 If 3/1, flights/POH from any major city in Australia If 2/1, flights/POH from Darwin, Alice Springs, or Adelaide ONLY Immediate start available Contractor Casual positions Opportunities to work across multiple civil/construction earthworks projects KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate earth-moving machinery assisting with various civil projects being exposed to the desert heat, rain, uneven ground conditions and an isolated environment: Grader Dozer Excavator Loader Articulated Dump Truck Watercart Skid steer Backhoe Forklift Roller Carry out earthworks with various civil and/or construction activities such as tailings dam and road works Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment Complete pre-starts, basic maintenance checks, and equipment reporting TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Construction White Card Current Drivers Licence Minimum 12 years experience in civil or mining machine operation of the above machinery listed SINGLE or MULTI-SKILLED (Essential) High Risk Work Licence EWP, RI, LF (Desirable) GPS experience (particularly for dozer and grader roles) (Desirable) Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
