Kitchen & Tile Design & Sales Representative (Full-Time) HIGHLANDS SELECTION CENTRE - MITTAGONG We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and sales-driven Design & Sales Representative to join our well-established team at Highlands Selection Centre, Mittagong. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves design and wants to build a career specialising in kitchen design, while also contributing to customer service and sales within our beautiful showroom offering tiles, Bathroomware and home appliances. About the Role In this full-time position, you will work closely with clients to bring their kitchen, laundry, home office, and wardrobe visions to life. You will guide customers through design choices, layouts, finishes, and product selections, delivering both functional and visually appealing outcomes. A key focus of this role is driving sales performance within the kitchen department to meet sales targets, while managing its day-to-day operations. You will take ownership of both retail and trade client relationships, confidently handling enquiries both in-store and over the phone, and actively identify and capture every sales opportunity. From kitchen layouts to product selection, including sinks, tapware, appliances, benchtops, door handles, paint colour and more, you will proactively recommend complementary products to maximise both customer satisfaction and sales outcomes. You will also play an important role in managing your departments inventory, ensuring stock is accurate, well maintained, and aligned with sales activity. In addition, you will assist customers within our tile showroom, helping coordinate cohesive and stylish results across their projects. The opportunity to work across all departments including Bathroomware is available for the right candidate, with training available. Key Responsibilities Design and plan functional kitchen spaces using our premium flat pack kitchen design system Drive sales growth within the kitchen department, meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs Confidently manage customer enquiries in person and over the phone with a strong sales focus Capture and maximise every sales opportunity through product recommendations and upselling Manage day-to-day operations of the kitchen department, including pipeline management, quoting, order processing, and project follow-up Maintain accurate inventory control within your department Interpret and work from architectural, builder, designer, and customer plans Assist customers with benchtop selections and tile showroom consultations when required Collaborate with team members, suppliers and preferred installers to deliver outstanding results Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all aspects of design, sales, and customer service About You A genuine passion for design and interiors Proven sales experience with a strong ability to close and maximise opportunities Confident and professional sales phone manner Strong computer skills and ability to learn design and sales systems Ability to manage customers from initial design through to ordering and installation Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Comfortable reading and interpreting plans with accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your department Availability to work weekends (a 9-day fortnight may be considered) What We Offer A supportive and well-established team environment Access to premium designer appliances and kitchen & bathroom products Opportunities for growth and development in kitchen design Training in Kitchen design software Staff discounts and incentive program A beautiful showroom setting in Mittagong Immediate start for the right candidate!
