Protecting Our Community.About the RoleHunter New England Local Health District is seeking a motivated and professional Security Officer to join the team at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital (TRRH). In this role, you will provide a prompt and efficient security service across hospital buildings and grounds, supporting the safety and wellbeing of staff, patients and visitors.You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, responding to security incidents and emergencies, conducting routine patrols and assisting clinical staff during challenging situations. The role requires strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.This position works across a 24/7 rotating roster and may require flexibility to work across multiple Hunter New England Health sites if required.About the FacilityTamworth Rural Referral Hospital is the largest hospital in the New England region and provides a comprehensive range of acute and specialty services to the community.
