We are seeking an experienced Truck and Dog Driver to join our team. Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions (Tipper) Report defects, accidents or violations Requirements and skills HC driver''s licence (essential) Experience with a manual roadranger gear box (essential) White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness (essential) Proven work experience as a Truck and Dog Driver Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Willing to submit to background/drug checks, TruckSafe Fitness to Drive medical and provide employment references
