We are committed to ensure that all our people feel respected and participate safely within a work environment without aggression, sexual harassment, discrimination and racism.Where you''ll be workingHornsby Ku-ring-gai HospitalWhat you''ll be doingThe Soft Facilities Manager (Soft FM)Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (HKH) is responsible for the coordination and management of soft facilities providers across the campus in line with service contracts and the direct service management of HKH Wardspersons.This position liaises with Soft FM service providers on behalf of hospital operations to coordinate contracts in areas including but not limited to Food Services, Cleaning, Linen, Waste, Distribution, Mortuary, Medical Gas, Oxygen and Patient Transport Equipment. Management of the Wardsperson Department includes ensuring effective service delivery and creating a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused culture.The incumbent overall supports the organisation, ensuring patient and staff safety through the provision of best practice soft facilities management.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:Demonstrated effective written communication. Accompanying capability to prepare key documentation including but not limited to Briefs, Memorandums of Understanding, Service Level Agreements, Memos and Project plans.Ability to lead, manage and support a diverse team to deliver high quality care to patients and their families.
