About the role We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Malibu Podiatry in Safety Bay, Western Australia. This is a part-time position that will involve managing the front-of-house operations and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. This position requires 16-20 hours per week. What you''ll be doing Greeting patients and visitors Efficiently managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations Handling patient queries and providing information about our services Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical files Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and organised at all times What we''re looking for Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role, preferably in allied health or similar setting Minimum 1-2 years of medical reception experience required Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively Proficiency in using medical software and electronic patient record systems Experience with medical software system is required for managing patient records and appointments A warm, friendly and professional demeanour, with a genuine interest in providing exceptional patient care About us Malibu Podiatry Surgery is a well-established and reputable healthcare provider in the Safety Bay community.
