The FOH CO is expected to be directly and indirectly involved in the delivery of safe and efficient work practices.FOH CO role is an initiative from Liverpool Emergency Department (ED) to provide efficient and appropriate flow through the FOH zone of the Emergency Department. The FOH CO is a dedicated senior nurse who will oversee the flow of the patients through the triage, CIN and waiting room in collaboration with the FOH Senior decision maker and FOH team.The FOH CO provides clinical supervision of patients cared for in the FOH zone, ensures provision of quality nursing care and appropriate allocation of resources to meet demand.The FOH CO will maintain adequate flow through FOH bays, ensure care is commenced according to modes of care and escalate to NUM or Nurse in charge if demand is exceeding capacity, in conjunction with the Senior decision maker.Are You the Right Fit?We are looking for:A Registered Nurse in ED with appropriate experience in rapid assessment of patients. Triage and CIN level nurse.Demonstrated understanding of key principal indicators and essential clinical pathways.
