(subject to review and approval) About the Role: We are looking for a Supervising Medical Scientist to join in the Chemical Pathology. Under the limited operational direction of the Chief Scientist, Chemical Pathology & Immunopathology and clinical supervision of the Clinical Director of, the successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Chemical Pathology laboratory. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with team leaders across ACT Pathology to identify improvement opportunities, and to help build a collaborative, proactive workplace culture consistent with CHS values of Reliable, Progressive, Respectful and Kind. There is a requirement to work out of routine hours, on-call, occasional nights, weekends, public holidays and work at the North Canberra Hospital Laboratory.
