Internal applicants i.e. current employees of St Vincents Hospital or an entity of SVHA are required to apply via their Workday account.Selection Criteria:Possess, or be eligible to possess, specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialists State Award;Three years experience supervising medical trainees as an Educational Supervisor in RACP Basic Training (or equivalent experience);Certification of completion of all three SPDP workshops or intending to complete prior to commencement;In-depth knowledge of RACP Training Program requirements, curricula, educational policies and accreditation standards;Commitment to meeting the Standards for Educational Leadership and Supervision, and principles outlined in the Educational Leadership and Supervision Policy;Advanced level of the RACP Standards for Educational Leadership and Supervision;Demonstrated commitment to teaching at specialty registrar, junior medical officer and undergraduate levels;Demonstrated superior organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and develop a strong teaching program through to examination stage;Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization and in particular the ability to provide mentorship and leadership to those studying physicians training or thinking about this career path in the future;Demonstrated ongoing contribution to the development, dissemination, and translation of new knowledge and practices commensurate with work in an academic teaching hospital environment;Examiner or Provisional Examiner with RACP;Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead MinistriesFor a copy of the position description, please email This job advertisement will close on 26 March 2026To apply for this position, please click HERE
