We are currently seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator/ Plant Operator to join our team working onsite within BlueScope Limited This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated operator seeking a flexible start, with strong potential to transition into full-time work within a professional industrial environment. About the RoleYour primary responsibility will be operating skid steer loaders to maintain and clean designated plant areas, while supporting general site operations and equipment upkeep. This role will commence on a part-time flexible basis during training and onboarding , with strong potential to transition into full-time hours for the right candidate. Key Duties Include: Safe operation of skid steer loaders / bobcats Cleaning and maintaining plant work areas General labouring and site support duties Basic equipment maintenance and daily checks Following all site safety procedures and policies Working independently and within a team environment Assisting contractors and other onsite personnel as required Essential Requirements: Current VOC / Bobcat / Skid Steer competency ticket Current HR Truck Licence (Crash box experience advantageous) Valid Drivers Licence Minimum 12 years skid steer operating experience Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Physically fit and capable of manual duties Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Australian working rights Ability to pass police check and drug & alcohol screening About YouYou are reliable, hardworking and take pride in your work.
